  • The event witnessed over 55 attendees from more than 14  institutions in Nigeria.
  • Central Bank of Nigeria, Keystone Bank, Electronic Payplus Ltd, Stanbic IBTC, Sterling bank, FCMB Bank, Heritage Bank, Union Bank, UBA Bank, UBA Pensions, Zenith Bank, Fidelity Bank, Fences Real Estate, Olive Microfinance bank etc participated.

The speakers areas of focus addressed:

  • How to empower your security team to analyze, respond to, and mitigate cybersecurity incident faster and more effectively.
  • How to reduce operational costs while improving your endpoint security posture and on-going compliance
  • Safe Mobile Banking -Improving user experience while fighting fraud to standstill.

This event became necessary as the volume of threat data is exceeding the capacity of even the most skilled security professional and organizations are drowning in a sea of information that continues to grow rapidly as the threat landscape itself.

Advanced analytics and other software tools helps security analyst detect anomalies and determine high risk threats but the volume of information combined with the rate and sophistication of attacks has made it nearly impossible for any single analyst to keep up.These has resulted to a global shift towards Cognitive Security.

Cognitive Security involves training a new generation of cognitive systems to understand, reason and learn about constantly evolving security threats. Building security instincts and expertise into new defenses that analyses research reports, web texts, threat data and other structured and unstructured relevant data.
